So long-term viewers will recall an old journal entry of mine, detailing my current long term projects. Amongst these were some old sci-fi cartoons from the late 80's, one of which was absolutely fucking awful - Ulysses 31. It was so bad it was good! "TELEMACHUS MY SON! LET US SEARCH FOR OUR COMPANIONS, AND FIND THE KINGDOM OF HADES!" is pretty much the only words they could say throughout the entire run. When I was a kid this show rocked, so I rushed into buying the DVDs when they came out but re-watching them... ha, it didn't age well compared to other cartoons of the time I feel.

Enough of that. This picture took me all bloody weekend, most of which being spent on the ship(The Odyssey)... that's another piece in itself, most of the detail is lost in this image.

I'm very happy with how it came out in the end, and hopefully is another two fingers to those who say my work lacks that certain X factor. You know who you are...
